भक्त देवों के मुकुटों की मणियों की कान्ति को चमकाने वाले, पाप रूपी अन्धकार के समूह को नष्ट करने वाले, और संसार रूपी समुद्र में डूबते हुए प्राणियों को सहारा देने वाले भगवान आदिनाथ के दोनों चरण कमलों को युग के प्रारंभ में सम्यक् प्रकार से प्रणाम करता हूँ।
I devoutly bow down to the twin lotus feet of Bhagwan Adinatha, which illuminate the brilliant crest-jewels of bowing celestial devas, destroy the dense gloom of karmic sins, and serve as the sole supreme raft for living beings drowning in the ocean of worldly cycles.
सम्पूर्ण शास्त्र ज्ञान से प्रकट हुई तीव्र बुद्धि वाले इन्द्रादि देवों द्वारा तीनों लोकों के मनों को हरने वाले जिन स्तोत्रों से आपकी स्तुति की गई है, उसी प्रथम तीर्थंकर जिनेश्वर देव की स्तुति करने का मैं भी उपक्रम करता हूँ।
Even Indra and heavenly sovereigns possessing consummate scriptural wisdom could scarcely fathom Thy infinite virtues through soul-stirring hymns; yet, spurred by boundless devotion, I too endeavor to sing the praise of the First Jina.
हे जिनेन्द्र देव! आपके अनंत गुणों से गूँथी हुई, सुंदर अक्षरों रूपी विविध वर्णों के पुष्पों वाली यह स्तोत्र रूपी माला जो मनुष्य अपने कण्ठ में नित्य धारण करता है (कण्ठस्थ करता है), उस मानतुंग (उच्च पद को प्राप्त) पुरुष के पास मोक्ष रूपी लक्ष्मी स्वयं वश होकर चली आती है।
O Lord of Jinas! Whosoever perpetually wears in his heart and voice this garland of hymns, woven from Thine exalted attributes like multicolored radiant blossoms, is irresistibly attained by supreme Liberation and spiritual sovereignty.
