Muni Shri 108 Vrishabh Sagar Ji Maharaj is a revered ascetic belonging to the Digambara monastic tradition of Jainism. Fully embodying the 28 Mula Gunas (primary ascetic virtues), Mahavratas, and Bhagwan Mahavira's timeless doctrine of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Aparigraha (non-possession), they are venerated widely across the global Jain community.

Born in the secular world at Mangaon Maharashtra India. Their pre-monastic childhood name was 'Shri Adgaunda Ji'. They were born into a pious Digambara household to father Shri Babgaunda Ji and mother Shrimati Savitri Ji, whose deep spiritual values laid the foundation for their future renunciation.

Realizing the transient nature of worldly pursuits, they renounced worldly possessions to embrace the rigorous Digambara ascetic vows. On May 10, 1962 at Shahpura Rajasthan India, they were initiated into the preliminary Kshullak/Ailak vows. They received monastic initiation under the venerable guidance of Guru Acharya Shri 108 Shiv Sagar Ji Maharaj (Charitra Chakravarti).

In accordance with ancient Digambara monastic disciplines, they continuously travel entirely on foot to guide the faithful and preserve the canonical tenets of Jainism.

Their discourses and daily guidance serve as a profound beacon of wisdom for seekers on the spiritual path.

Pujya Muni Shri 108 Vrishabh Sagar Ji Maharaj attained sacred Sallekhana / Samadhimaran on October 1983 at Kunthalgiri, Yasawandi, Maharashtra, India in peaceful spiritual equanimity, shedding the mortal frame to progress towards liberation (Moksha). Their memory continues to illuminate the path for aspirants worldwide.
