Acharya Shri 108 Bahubali Ji Maharaj is a revered ascetic belonging to the Digambara monastic tradition of Jainism. Fully embodying the 28 Mula Gunas (primary ascetic virtues), Mahavratas, and Bhagwan Mahavira's timeless doctrine of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Aparigraha (non-possession), they are venerated widely across the global Jain community.

Prior to renunciation, Acharya Shri 108 Bahubali Ji Maharaj was born in the secular world at Rukadi, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India . Their pre-monastic childhood name was 'Sambhav Kumar Jain'. They were born into a pious Digambara household to father Shri Balvant Rao Ji and mother Shrimati Akkatai, whose deep spiritual values laid the foundation for their future renunciation.

Realizing the transient nature of worldly pursuits, they renounced worldly possessions to embrace the rigorous Digambara ascetic vows. They received monastic initiation under the venerable guidance of Guru Acharya Shri 108 Deshbhushan Ji Maharaj.

In accordance with ancient Digambara monastic disciplines, they continuously travel entirely on foot to guide the faithful and preserve the canonical tenets of Jainism.

As a spiritual preceptor, they have initiated over 1 monastic disciples (Munis, Aryikas, and tyagis), fostering the growth of the Digambara ascetic order. Their discourses and daily guidance serve as a profound beacon of wisdom for seekers on the spiritual path.
